I do love dauphinoise potatoes- I’m glad you mentioned it because I can never remember the name of them. But I noticed that the word has 2 recognizable parts ‚dauphi‘ and ‚noise‘ which is possibly helpful if I can find a meaning (or hook) for the word ‚dauphi‘ What could a Dauphi be? And what sort of sound is Dauphi Noise anyway? ;)
