Honeypot epic film shoot
We're planning the most ambitious music video project we've ever dreamt up.
First of all thank you very much for taking time out of your undoubtedly very busy schedules to come here to find out more about this CRAZY project of ours.
Nine years ago, with the previous incarnation, 'Gurdan Thomas', Linda Sollacher and I made a very low budget music video for the song, 'My Head is stuck in this Honeypot' - (Deutsch 'Mein Kopf steckt fest in dieser Honigtopf verdammt!'). This song has been one of the favourites among not only our fans but also within the band. So we decided to re-record it as The Lone Dining Society. Not only that, we plan to make the most ambitious music video that we've ever dreamt up!
We need 1,000 people.
Yes, you read that correctly. We need 1,000 people to take part in what will be something of a Ben Hur-esque film. It will be a massive challenge (mostly for us), but it will be, as all our films are, hard work, but the most amazing memories that will stay with you until the Boandlkramer* scares you out of your socks and into the next life.
The dates for shooting (there is a bad weather option) are Saturday 13th and Saturday 20th September.
There will be more information coming - and there's no commitment at the moment. If your adventurous side is peaked by this idea and you think "maybe, just maybe I want to be involved in something that perhaps I can tell my Grandchildren about someday", then let us know. There is a form to the right (or below) here which you can fill in.
We do also need people to help with logistics and herding the rabid horde of wild people across the Bavarian countryside. So if you're more comfortable behind the camera, WE STILL NEED YOU TOO!
So, come on - join us on an epic rollercoaster ride of an adventure. And spread the word. We need all the help we can get -we'd be extremely grateful.
