So, pictured above is the remarkable, and extremely modest I have to say, JJ, or Just John Jones, mastermind of the genius 'Same Old Song' project. One night of music, with only one song from many varied performers with many varied versions - somehow it shouldn't work, one would think that hearing the same old song performed for the whole night would drive one insane (well I have heard that there are a couple of unfortunates still in therapy) - But don't take my word for it, you can experience this amazing concept for yourself this coming Monday evening (27.10.) at Milla Club in Munich.

The only downside JJ has from spending so long with such a project is that he has a tendancy to take the Ohrwurm (song stuck in the head) to extreme levels. On the day of shooting (filming) he was only able to converse through song, and only one song and when not in song-like conversation he could be heard wandering around the beautiful Gut Sonnenhausen singing this song, over and over and over and over.....

We were incredibly blessed with good weather as you can see above, a couple of Glonners having brought sledges - absolutely perfect for the day.

It was very moving to see everyone making the effort with a wide range of costumes and props and putting so much effort into the creative process. There was even a young man with a HUGE golfball on set.

Where his golf club went to will be forever be a mystery. However he managed by kicking the ball along with his feet (perhaps he will invent a new game, footgolf or feetballs or something...).

After the shoot, although a little later than expected there was a right good knees up! In other words a party, with food, drinks (there were 3 barrels of delicious Organic Schweinsbräu beer as well as some Sinnlos Bier - see pic above (all photos: Ines Pillau)

There was some live music from Oliver Materna (he's really tiny! see the top left pic), Oimrausch, Miriam Arens, Michaila Kühnemann (top right, cowboy hat - who was also documenting the whole affair and will be making a 'Making of' coming reasonably soon), and of course a little appearance by LDS - we were all wonderful, thank you!

And thank you once more to all involved - I will be having a chat with Camerman Emil Schultheiss later and hopefully getting to look at the footage next week!

I will keep you informed, if the footage is good - if it's a pile of crap then you won't be hearing from me for quite some time!
